DnA Elements is Australian owned and made! The range was formulated by a pharmacist and produced under the basis of "pure, organic and holistic living".
The specific mist I used was the Orange Blossom Toner. It is a beautiful, soothing, subtle yet sweet mist and is 100% organic. The Orange Blossom toner truly is a "pick me up" as DnA Elements describes it. It is perfect for soothing dry, dehydrated skin while the orange essential oil found in this gem is included for assisting the lymphatic system. This aids in the detoxification of congested skin, which means it is great for oily/combination skin! As a plus, the toner also supports the formation of collagen for firmer-looking skin.
SIMPLE as that is also pharmacist formulated brand which I just love! It is also the brand that I have reviewed over in my last blog. This toner is made up of rose otto water (rose water), french lavender oil and witch hazel. These ingredients work together to remove dead skin cells and tightens pores which will help with your skincare regime. This toner is used differently to the DnA Elements toner – instead of spritzing it on your skin, you simply put a little bit of the toner on a cotton pad and wipe it onto your skin.
Personally, I love both methods of using a toner. A mist toner is great for all day pampering and is very convenient for travelling. It also doubles up as a moisturiser for tired or dehydrated skin during a long day. On the other hand, a liquid toner is fabulous in its own right because I can focus the application on the areas that need more attention. Overall it is personal choice and what suits your beauty regime.... secretly I would carry both!
